We are delighted to announce that we have written a brand new English language course, designed for nurse managers and human resources staff.
English has become an indispensable tool of communication for people working in management and administrative roles in healthcare settings all around the world. This course is aimed at nurse managers and human resources staff who use English when working with international staff members from the recruitment phase through to day-to-day life on the wards.
After a vibrant discussion about the importance of English in healthcare, we’ll explore many key themes, including the responsibilities of nursing management, human resources, the hospital structure, international recruitment, interviews, and clinical nursing terminology. By the end of the course, students will feel much better equipped to deal with the unique challenges of communicating in English with their international workforce.
Another main area of focus will be how to speak English at conferences. This section of the course will help you to develop the necessary vocabulary, techniques and confidence to deliver professional presentations about management and research projects. Our friendly and enthusiastic tutor has years of experience as an overseas registered nurse, teacher of clinical English, and has spoken at many international nursing events.
