We are delighted to announce that we have been working on a summer gift for all the lovely people in our wonderful English for Nurses community! Over the last year, we have been asked many times if we could create more free educational videos, and we are very happy to do so! We have a number of new videos to share with you, and we will be posting them every 10 days or so. Here is the first:
How Do I Ask a Patient if They Have a Cold?
In this video, Sabine tackles one of the most common patient admission questions that she hears when she teaches English to healthcare professionals. This is always a tricky topic for non-native English speakers because the word 'cold' is used both for the illness itself and when describing one of the symptoms! Don't worry, Sabine will help make it all clear for you.
